Inspired by an iconic Patagonia style from the early '80s, this warm, wind-resistant Isthmus parka blends timeless mountain heritage with cutting-edge sustainability. Built for comfort in cold conditions and constructed for minimal impact, it’s a versatile essential for winter adventures and everyday wear. The outer shell is made from 100% post-consumer recycled NetPlus textured nylon, sourced from discarded fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution. It’s finished with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating that’s free of intentionally added PFAS, offering reliable protection from the elements while staying true to Patagonia’s environmental ethos.

For added warmth, the hood and chest are lined with soft, 100% recycled polyester fleece, while the sleeves are insulated with 60g/m² Thermogreen insulation, also made from 100% recycled polyester. The result is lightweight, breathable warmth where you need it most. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory, this parka supports better working conditions and fair wages for the people who made it.

Practical and thoughtfully designed, the Isthmus parka features a two-way front zipper with an external storm flap and discreet snap closures to keep out wind and cold. Exterior storage includes two zippered chest pockets and two zippered handwarmer pockets with side openings and snap-flap closures. Inside, you’ll find a zippered chest pocket for secure storage. Adjustable snap cuffs complete the package for a custom fit.
